...THE TOAST THAT LOOKS LIKE LEMON JELLY!!!

(Well, "The Slice Of Toast That Looks A Bit Like The Cover To Lemon Jelly's New Album '64-'95" to be more accurate.)

A PIECE OF ROCK HISTORY!

Thanks to the outstanding generosity of the deeply wonderful HOWARD DEVOTO of the BUZZCOCKS, we'll be bringing you a chance to own a piece of bona fide rock history!

Not only has Howard - the original front man of the BUZZCOCKS, as well as the main man behind LUXURIA and MAGAZINE - agreed to sign a RARE 12" BLUE VINYL EP for us to auction, but he's also dipped in to his own archives to donate something rather special!

"SPIRAL SCRATCH", the BUZZCOCKS' first EP is a pretty rare 7" in it's own right if you're after a copy from the first pressing. Why would you want that? Well, because it was the FIRST PROPER INDIE PUNK SINGLE ever released in the UK, way back in 1977!

As if that wasn't enough, this copy is a MINT CONDITION UNPLAYED copy! AND it's HOWARD DEVOTO's OWN COPY! AND he's signed it too!

Could this BE more unique?

FIRST SUNDAE CLUB VINYL!

Quoting Hamstall Ridware
of Sundae Club:

The A-side at 45rpm will be the frenetic, energetic Retarded Funk remix by one-time forumite Big Bad Baz, who as most of you know was the originator of the idea behind the Eric Prydz huge smash hit of last year "Call on Me" which drew heavily from a Steve Winwood sample.

The B-side will have two tracks (at 33 and a 3rd rpm just to be awkward!) which will be the original "Angels in the Sky", and a very laid-back and chilled remix by Steve Winwood's studio engineer, James Towler - so there's a Winwood connection running through the whole thing!

The entire run will be very limited - probably 250 numbered copies in all and no further copies to be pressed. The first three will indeed be auctioned in aid of "Make Things Right" and we're proud to have the chance to help.

STEVE HACKETT AUCTION
AUTOGRAPHED ALBUM

We've got a CD copy of Steve Hackett's latest album "Metamorpheus" signed and ready for putting on eBay any day now.

Recorded with The Underworld Orchestra, Metamorpheus is the natural successor to Steve's last orchestral album, ‘A Midsummer Night’s Dream’.

Steve (previously a member of GENESIS and GTR) is currently on tour. This time however the strobe lights and bass pedals get left behind as his acoustic trio takes to the stage.

SRI-LANKAN STAMPS

Well, First-Day Covers from Ceylon to be completely accurate.

For the philaltelists among you, we have 7 different First-Day Covers from 1951 through to 1956, as shown in the picture.

These passed into our hands about 30 years ago, and have been stored in plastic bags inside an album.

It seemed appropriate that rather than just sit among our posessions that these were sold to do some good for the country that they originally came from years ago.

NO BOG-STANDARD SEAT THIS!

Tasteful and refined, this wonderfully comfortable toilet seat will suit any decor or style equally well.

Robustly constructed and well finished with a distinctive and understated Paisley pattern, this is sure to be an asset to any home.

This item will be offered by eBay auction, and comes with all of it's original packaging.

THE BOOKCROSSING CONNECTION

BookCrossing is a method for redistributing books randomly to the rest of the world, free of charge.

The idea is that once you've finished with a book, you register it at http://www.bookcrossing.com/ , label it with it's new unique code, then leave it somewhere for a random stranger to find.

Hopefully, they'll read it, register their find with the site, than leave it somewhere else for another new reader to find.  it's a great way to spread literacy, at a low cost.

We're going to be stickering all our BookCrossing books from now on with stickers asking the finder to stop by this site - and hopefully, donate too!  After all, they just got a free book, didn't they?

NEPALESE T-SHIRTS : EMBROIDERED IN SILK

A selection of the designs is shown opposite.  These t-shirts are of the finest quality, tested and selected personally by us.  The shirts designs are a combination of traditional designs, modern "traveller" designs, and several unique to ourselves, including a range of fractal-based designs.  Sizes range from 36" to 46" chest.

All were silk embroidered by workers in a non-exploitative contract with us, and with the agreement and assistance of the (previous) Nepalese government, before the recent suspension.

It is our intention to offer these for sale by mail order only, with 50% of all proceeds going directly to Make Things Right.
